I go about each piece differently. There is a piece for which I wrote a poem, which I didn't use at all in the end. After the premiere however, people told me that they had sensed some kind of narration within the piece. For another composition I chose a poem, translated it into a few languages and then mingled all the words. Many audience members shared the impression that they had heard a peculiar language. I think that the feedback your receive for a piece often matches your original intention.
